Agreed to work with the London Stock Exchange

Mongolia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Damdinyam Gongor held a meeting with Julia Hoggett, Chief Executive Officer of the London Stock Exchange, during his official visit to the United Kingdom.

The meeting focused on supporting the Mongolian mining companies that seeking to be listed on the London Stock Exchange, and attracting foreign investment to Mongolia, and diversifying financial products at Mongolia’s Mining Stock Exchange.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate several key areas, including exploring efficient stock exchange mechanisms that enable citizens to benefit from mining projects through the Wealth Fund and organize training programs to raise awareness of investing in capital markets.

The meeting marked an important step for Mongolia’s enterprises that aiming to enter to global financial markets, discovering new sources of investment.
