“Mongolia Day” celebrated in PDAC 2026

As part of the PDAC 2026 international conference in Toronto, “Mongolia Day 2026” held open for promote international cooperation in Mongolia’s mining sector, enhance investment opportunities, and introduce strategic projects.

The full-day day event opened with remarks by Battsengel Gotov, Chairman, Mongolian National Mining Association, and Sarantogos Erdenetsogt, Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada.

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Damdinyam Gongor presented a keynote speech on country’s policy on extractive sector, ongoing legal and regulatory reforms, and Government’s efforts to create a favorable environment for foriegn investment.

Representatives from Asian Battery Metals, Erdene Mongolia, and Erdene Resource presented their Mongolian projects, including exploration activities, project development progress, and strategic objectives.

The second session of “Mongolia Day 2026” hosted a panel discussion on under the theme of “Why Invest in Mongolia? A Reliable and Responsible Partner for Mining Investment.” The discussion brought together key figures from the public and private sectors of both countries, including the experts from geology sector.

Participants discussed Mongolia’s competitiveness, investment environment, and future investment predictions and opportunities.
