MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND MINERAL RESOURCES OF MONGOLIA

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources held its regular meeting on April 6, 2026, to discuss the implementation of the assignments and tasks and address pressing issues.
The meeting was chaired by B. Dashpurev, State Secretary of the Ministry, who reviewed the performance of the affiliated authorities and departments, and issued the following assignments. It includes:
✓ Under the agreements between the Central Bank of Mongolia and commercial banks to construct and expand petroleum storage facilities, the requirements and responsibilities for businesses should be clearly defined.
Within the framework of agreements between the Bank of Mongolia and commercial banks to build fuel storage facilities and increase capacity, clearly define the requirements and responsibilities for enterprises. In cases where requirements are not met, loans should be canceled and transferred to standard terms.
✓ Intensify the activities of the working group established under the “Gold-3” campaign and ensure the prompt implementation of planned tasks.
✓The Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia and the National Geological Survey should improve the processing of statistics and data information and ensure that the information is updated promptly and in a timely manner.
✓ Specific instructions were provided to enhance the ethics and accountability of employees, improve internal operations and work coordination, with further instruction for maintaining a regular oversight of the implementation.
