The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, in collaboration with the Independent Authority Against Corruption and the General Intelligence Agency, organized a training on “Anti-Corruption Activities” and the “State and Official Secrets”

Within the framework of ensuring the implementation of the Аnti-corruption law and the related regulations, interpretation and promotion of anti-corruption efforts, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, in collaboration with the Independent Authority Against Corruption of Mongolia, organized a training on the topic of “Anti-Corruption Activities”. A.Tunamal-Erdene, a commissioner of the Prevention and Public Awareness Department, was invited to present to the staff of the Ministry.

The training was featured by a broad and active participation from the Ministry, innovative and interesting initiatives, exchange of information, challenging issues, and providing professional support.

In addition, regarding the implementation of Law on the State and Official Secrets, and the General Procedure for Protection of the State and Official Secrets, N. Sergelen, an officer of the State Secrets Division of the General Intelligence Agency, was invited to speak on the issues related to protection of the state and official secrets.

The training was successfully held and was very helpful for the staff to get a general view on the concept of the state, official, and organizational secrets, the types of information classified as confidential, the rights and responsibilities of authorized personnels, the use, storage, and protection of classified documents.
