Gongor DAMDINNYAM, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia is currently on an official visit to the Russian Federation. As part of his visit, he held a meeting with his counterpart, Sergey Tsivilev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation and signed a Supplemental protocol to the Mongolia-Russian Intergovernmental agreement on Aviation fuel supply to Mongolia. This agreement secures a regular supply of aviation fuel to Mongolia under preferential terms and will come into force with the Intergovernmental agreement on Petroleum product supply to Mongolia.

With the conclusion of this agreement, it is significant to prevent unprecedented price increases related to the unexpected conflict in the Middle East and secure the stable supply of petroleum products.
