Also, to approve the annual plan of geological exploration work to be funded by the state budget, to evaluate the results, to evaluate the report of the geological survey conducted in the territory of Mongolia and make recommendations, to ensure legal regulation related to mineral exploration permits, to establish a professional council; , to develop and approve rules, instructions, standard methodologies and recommendations for the geological sector, to develop a policy to introduce advanced techniques and technologies to bring geological research to international standards, to create conditions for cooperation with foreign geological organizations, to implement joint projects and programs, to support high technology and intensification of mineral exploration, forecasting all types of minerals, and increasing mineral resources.
