G. Damdinnyam, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, received Bruno Angelet,Non- Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Mongolia.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on developing cooperation in the field of industry and mineral resources between the two countries, with the focus on establishing connections and strengthening partnerships between public and private sector enterprises. The meeting was attended by representatives of Syensqo, a Belgian multinational chemicals company. The delegation presented their ongoing operations in Mongolia and expressed their interest in further expanding bilateral collaboration.

G.Damdinnyam, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, noted that Mongolia is consistently developing close relations and cooperation with European Union member states in the field of industry and mineral resources. He also highlighted that the Government of Mongolia has submitted a draft Amendment to the Law on Minerals to Parliament with the aim of ensuring to attract more investors and implement mutually beneficial and economically viable projects.
And he highly welcomed a broad participation of public and private companies from Belgian side to the “Mining Week -2026”, the largest mining conference and exhibition of Mongolia, to be held from 16-18 September 2026.
