G.DAMDINNYAM, MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND MINERAL RESOURCES RECEIVED YEO HAN-KOO, TRADE MINISTER, ROK

G.Damdinnyam, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia received Yeo Han Koo, Trade Minister of the Republic of Korea.

Minister G. Damdinnyam expressed his willingness to further expand the scope of activities and strengthen human resources and institutional capacity as part of the “Rare Metal Cooperation Center” project. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring the long-term sustainability and efficiency of the Center’s future operations, as well as launching a new flagship project based on a win-win principle between Mongolia and Korea.

Minister Yeo Han-Koo expressed his commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation by serving as a bridge to fill the gaps between the two countries noting great potential for high-technology and investment of South Korea, while Mongolia’s abundant minerals and energy resources. Furthermore, the two sides have been updated on recently submitted draft Amendments to the Law on Minerals, specifically new opportunities and major changes aimed at improving the investment climate.
